Harvest Festival 2010

As we enjoy all the modern conveniences and extended luxuries of our attractions and restaurants and everything that Pigeon Forge is now, we reserve a special section of autumn as a time to look back at where we came from and how we got to where we are.
The Harvest Festival is less a full-on city-wide event than it is a general mood and attitude expressed by Pigeon Forge in the form of decorations and smaller private events and specials offered by local attractions and businesses - however, don't think there isn't much to do in that time! Dollywood, for example, has a wonderful month-long Harvest Festival and Southern Gospel celebration during October. The Pigeon Forge Rotary Club throws a craft fair in a tent at the Patriot Park for nearly the entire month as well. For a full calendar of events, see www.mypigeonforge.com/events_calendar.aspx
But, of course, the main thing to look forward to at Harvest Festival every year is the changing of the colors, and as a guest of Summit Cabin Rentals, you're going to be swimming in bright glowing colors of the entire spectrum (except blue for some reason, why no blue?) deep in the Smoky Mountains of Wears Valley.
Reservations for front row seats to the massive color change go quickly, so make yours today and make Harvest Festival 2010 yours to enjoy for the fall!
Valentine's Day 2011

Late July Summer Fun
Summer's half over and, soon enough, it will time to get ready to go back to school, but this is a wonderful opportunity to soak in some late Summer fun at the Townsend Wye - easily the most popular riverside spot for families to swim, picnic, tube and more! Townsend is just a 20 minute drive through Wears Valley and will be the most fun you can have riverside throughout the season.
Not a river person? Dolly's Splash Country is also not too far away (20-25 minutes driving, depending on traffic) and more than a weekend's worth of fun for the whole family. Slides galore and safe for everyone to enjoy.

Labor Day Weekend 2012
Next weekend is one of the revered 3-day weekends that people look forward to - and many of them come to the Smokies to enjoy the many attractions and opportunities the city constantly provides.
There aren't any special events going in Pigeon Forge for Labor Day Weekend, but there are a bunch of sales for sidewalk shoppers - Christmas Place, Pigeon Forge Crossing and Tanger Mall will all have large sales at their shopping centers. Smartphone’s that we use have incredible capacities and sometimes we don’t use all abilities they have. Some capacities could be excellent tools for our work; for example, if you want manage your network, you can use your smartphone to analyze all clients that are connected to a specific network! So, the right tool for that is a free application called Fing! With this tool you can know a little bit more about those devices that are connected to your network. Well, the main feature of Fing is scanning and discovering all the devices on the same network that it's running on, through Fing you can find IP and MAC addresses, SSID, device vendors, ISP location and the geographic location of the router.
