The Fourth of July is coming up sooner than later, and we want to offer you a beautiful, luxury home-away-from-home to enjoy your Independence Day at while staying in the Smokies.

Why come to the Smokies for the 4th of July? Wel'sir, we have two awesome city-wide celebrations going on that day that you can take your pick from and enjoy the heck out of it with the family.

Gatlinburg's celebration starts with the Midnight 4th of July Parade 5 minutes after 11:55PM on July 3rd. The whole mountains light up with the sights, sounds and floats that come from the best Gatlinburg has to offer. An hour-long party along the main streets of downtown Gatlinburg! Then there's the River Raft Regatta at 10:00AM the next morning, then the fireworks start at 10:00PM which you can see from just about anywhere on the main downtown sidewalk. It's 3 special events downtown in 22 hours and it's pure fun!

On the flipside, Pigeon Forge just has one special event and it lasts all day straight. Patriot Fest is a huge gathering at Patriot Park where a huge soundstage is set up for music performances from 1:00PM until the fireworks go off at 9:30PM. This year features John Anderson and The Loving Spoonful. There will be inflatable fun stuff for the kids, food tents, cooling down stations and much more!

It's too bad you can't do both in one year (except for 2 years ago when Pigeon Forge had its Patriot Fest on July 3rd), but either way you do it, you and the family will have the most awesome Independence Day ever. Put a luxury chaser on top of it with our luxury cabins just 15-20 minutes away from Pigeon Forge and 30 minutes from Gatlinburg. See our cabins at www.summitcabinrentals.com
